god sometimes i bore myself...
so Halloween is coming up tomorrow..what are you doing? going to a party? helping the kids? giving out candy? getting drunk and fondling inappropriate people from behind a mask? no wait that's just John Travolta.
i got invited to a few parties on friday but i have a lot going on saturday early day so i might just skip it and do something fun on saturday night instead. sunday i'm attempting an early hike/photo session at Stave Lake so come on out and stalk me!

Jennifer Hudson's Mother and Brother fatally shot in Chicago
What a terrible thing for her to go through after announcing her upcoming wedding. Thoughts and prayers are with them at this time. RIP.
UPDATE- I just read that police are calling it a domestic shoointig. ie. murder suicide.

"Police have confirmed Hudson's mother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, is one of the deceased. The home where the bodies were discovered is at 7019 S. Yale in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. Property records indicate the home belongs to Donerson.
The other victim has been identified as Jennifer Hudson's brother Jason Hudson.
A search is under way for a young boy who is missing from the home. A child, possibly Jennifer Hudson's 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, is missing, according to sources. Police are searching for an SUV that was seen in the area, a 1994 white Suburban, Illinois license plate number X584859. "

One summer night in the last year or so this former pop star was feeling a bit amorous while out at a friends house so he decided to call up a couple of pros. The friend who owned the house did not mind and set in to motion calling a few other friends to really get the party going.
While waiting for the escorts to show our Pop singer decided what he really needed for a great night was a bit of illegal party favors and quickly nipped over to his own house to get them.
Minutes turned into hours and our Pop singer was still not back and the escorts at this point had been waiting around to get paid before starting anything. After waiting a bit longer the Pop singers friends had enough and ponied up to pay the escorts themselves and get the party started.
Hours later after everyone had their fun and were comfortably satiated the escorts were sent out into the night.....only to find our Pop singer passed out cold in the drivers seat of his vehicle.
Apparently he had taken too much GHB at home and it kicked in just as he arrived back to start the party.

It's another long weekend...
so what are YOU doing? i just really need a relaxing weekend without work functions, family functions, birthdays or anniversaries. i might get away with it. well aside from dinner tonight with my parents and grandpa and then Turkey Day dinner with all the fixins on Sunday.
ya that's not really working is it? oh well, at least it is all enjoyable obligations with a lot of time to visit and relax in between turkey and pumpkin pie. let's be real. i mean between pumpkin pie...and pumpkin pie. mmm i love that mess. mom you make the best pie ever. Ned has nothing on you at the Pie Hole. although if you could come back from the dead like Chuck or sing like Kristen Chenowith Dad would appreciate it. it does get a little stale in a 43 year marriage i bet.
