*UPDATE- because all 3 of you care...called up my bank and demanded a Visa with a low interest rate. you know what? i got it. AND using it to pay off those nazi bastards at M/C. ladies (and men) if you think you're getting screwed, standup and speak up for yourself. it felt pretty good to stick it to the poor Indian man who answered my unfortunate call at customer service. i kid..of course i was nice, he's in Mumbai for shits sake dealing with dumb North Americans' and their bad credit.

Good for you Jax! I think people would be surprised to know how many things you can get adjusted or for free just by asking, like better deals on your cell phone plan, or room upgrades at hotels.
i know i am pretty proud of myself!
next up is the cell bill....
My husband does this all the time. He goes line by line over our bills and doesn't hesitate to call the cable company or credit card company and bit**. EVERY time they either remove charges or lower rates.
