Good morning all....this will be short and sweet because I have a lot to do today. Well a lot to do in the next few hours and then it's Big Love and Golden Globe time!!
So, my parents are coming out for lunch today and I still can't decide what to make. I'm thinking homemade pizza and salad. Salad...hmm. To quote a good friend, "Salad is pizza's annoying friend." Too true,too true. But back to to the pizza...I'm thinking smoked prosciutto, sautéed mushrooms in garlic and caramelized onions topped with edam and provolone. Add to that the ugly salad of mixed greens, chopped walnuts,red onion and mandarin oranges and lightly drizzled with sweet onion and lime dressing. DAMN, that sounds good! If I remember, I'll try to take a picture of said pizza...it's homemade kids,not some whack ass frozen* pizza.
Well...I hope you have a great Sunday,enjoy some secrets and relax this evening while Ricky Gervais tries to host the Hollywood Drunk Festival...aka the Golden Globes. Enjoy!
